On April 28, 2021, the "High-Energy and Strong-Arc True Discharge Test and Pressure Leak Test for transformer oil tanks and components of UHV transformer equipment" was successfully conducted.
In this test, valuable data such as test current, arc voltage, short-circuit time, arc energy, sample temperature and internal pressure were obtained using high-precision and high-speed measurement instruments, which can provide data support for short-circuit withstand and explosion-proof design of transformer systems.
The test results showed that the pressure relief devices installed in the arc occurrence area can effectively discharge energy, preventing burning and explosion incidents. The explosion-proof membrane was proven to have a faster pressure relief effect.
The successful completion of this test indicated the continuous improvement of the comprehensive scientific research and testing capabilities of our institute, enabling us to provide a wider range of technical services to customers, and supporting the improvement of the quality of power transmission and transformation products.
